DEEPSOUND RECORDS BACK!

New Artists Highlight Push Into Automn

Following a summer dedicated to gathering new talent as well as reinforcing its worldwide distribution network, DeepSound Records (www.deepsoundmusic.com), enters the fall season stronger than ever.

Three new artists (and a host of new remixers) join the DeepSound Music fold. DJ Dalysovich (www.myspace.com/djdalysovich), born Ahmed Daly, is a Tunisian DJ who has been creating music since 1999. The Ariana native, with releases on such labels as 2Recordings (London) and KULT Records (NYC), will see his first release on DeepSound see the light on November 7, with “Flavour of Love”, with remixes by DJ Danjer (Tunisia), Fred Groulx (Montréal), and David Puentez & Hanna Hansen (Cologne, Germany).

David Puentez (www.myspace.com/djdavidpuentez) also joins the DeepSound Music family, fresh off his exhilarating performance at  Montréal’s 1234 nightclub on September 12. A well-known DJ across Germany and Europe, his personal touch gives his electronic house sound a unique feel. “Do My Best”, co-produced with fellow German DJ Sign ( http://www.myspace.com/signhousegroove), known for his remixes for StoneBridge, Martijn Ten Velden, Loletta Holloway, Jaybee, Akon, and Horny United, will be released by DeepSound on November 21.

Multi-talented Fred Groulx, known in a previous life as DJ Max8, has been part of the DeepSound Records family since his remix of “Organ Grind” by fellow Montrealer and label president and A&R, Max Julien (www.djmaxjulien.com), released last June. Not only will his remixes be a regular staple of future releases, but a special EP will be released early in 2009 featuring many of his musical nuggets.

Of course, French superstar, Sami Dee (Paris) (www.myspace.com/samideeforever), with three releases (‘[Da Fly”, “Metal Alarm”, “So Dee-Licious EP”) and two remixes on DeepSound, will also return with new material in the coming year.

Furthermore, “Claim the Night” by London singer Matt Lorentzen (www.mattlorentzen.com), remixed by famed German DJ/producer Dany Wild, has been picked up for the UGLY House Gold 2008 compilation, mixed by Swiss DJ Whiteside. In fact, the CD entered the Swiss charts last week at #8.

Finally, all tracks from DeepSound Records are now available on such sites as ITunes, Rhapsody, Fnac, AOL, Napster, and Amazone, as well as numerous other music download sites. A full list is available at www.deepsoundmusic.com.

The next DeepSound Records release is scheduled for Friday, October 17, with ‘’We’re the Angels…Alive!’’ by Max Julien featuring Yohan Knight, with remixes by Londoner Morgan King (formerly known as Clubland), Fred Groulx, and Serbian trio City Walkers (Belgrade). More details to follow.

DeepSound Records is dedicated to promoting well-known international producers and singers as well as established and up-and-coming Canadian artists – all within the house music spectrum.
