Kick da Joey

Hi Everybody! I am Kick Da Joey Aka Youssef Labidi. From Tunisia I was born in February 19th, 1991. I am member of the national team of Tunisian swimming, and swimming is my second pastime after Music. I like music since I was child, at the age of 9 , I registered in a conservatory and I began learning music and using cello. At age of 11 and exactly in 2002, i made my first steps in the field of House Music.. A lot of DJs influences me like Benny Benassi, Antoine Clamaran, Booka Shade and many others. And with the help of my sister, my cousin, and the famous DJ Tunisian Mirof, I began producing music. Their advices makes easier job for me. In 2003, I began crossing my productions in the swimming pool, during competitions as thorough music. It is in 2005 when my track « Be Free » makes a big success in Tunisian Clubbing In 2008, I met several DJs and Tunisian Producers, like DJ Funman aka Lyes Kriaa, El Tunissane, Ramix, Ed Westhame, Med Scott, also Alex Skantino ,Techno Twins, Zoux, Hamdi Rayder,Wael B and many others. And from there, I began imposing my own style, a nice mixture of minimal and melodic, also I began publishing my productions everywhere, In 2008 I Published "Minimalistika" and my famous track "Martyr", I also re-mixed The tracks of Barber "Agnus Dei" known under the name of Adagio For Strings, and for the first time in my life, I composed an Acid Jazz track "I Play For You" with the nice voice of the singer "Sandra" My track “Mil y Una Noches” was re-mixed by Funman afterwards. In 2009, and more precisely March 18th, I re-mixed the big title of El Tunissane and Med Scott “ Time To Get Out “ (Available In Demo here) I had also the big chance to make the virtual meeting of " Jerf " on "Myspace" who offered me to remixe his famous title "My Trip" My remix was published 15 April, 2009. Lately I published "Above The Clouds» on march 24th, followed of "Kiko" on April 4th, then El Divino on May 21st and my favourite « Push in Feeling » May 26th New productions will be online Soon..
