DeepSound Music (www.deepsoundmusic.com) is proud to announce the release of Max Julien’s (www.djmaxjulien.com) latest EP, Unfinished Business, out exclusively on Beatport (www.beatport.com) as of today. The latest DeepSound Records release will be out everywhere, in all the major stores, as of June 24. The four-track Unfinished Business EP features the retro-sounding “We Had Disco”, an ode to a past era, as well as two versions of the autobiographical “Age Is My Experience”, topped off by the addictive “Rejix”. “The EP is an amalgamation of material I have been working on over the last year,” explains the veteran DJ and producer. “There were tracks I had done which had never seen the light as I have been concentrating on remixes as well as our two labels and our talented artists, so I never got the chance to release them until now. I also recently switched operating systems as well as my music-making program, but I just had to get those tracks out there before looking towards the future. Unfinished Business just seemed like the right title - now I can move on to the next facet of my career.” Indeed, the release is the DeepSound Music president and A&R’s first original material since the first half of last year, in which “Valentine Dream 2009” made it all the way to number 2 worldwide on the Juno Downloads (www.junodownload.com) progressive house charts in February 2009, while “Lifetime of Understanding”, with Morgan King, recorded in London, also cracked many global charts.
